Born and raised in Seattle, Filipino-American producer/singer/songwriter Chris Carroll creates throwback lofi pop music over sample-heavy boom bap instrumentals, with occasional acoustic and mainstream pop patinas.
In 2019, following minor acclaim under his Burning Man-moniker Spoke, and his debut single, collage ballad "Lost", Chris Carroll released his second single, "Edge of the Earth" with Art-Pop Indie Label Manimal Vinyl Records (Warpaint, Yoko Ono, Bat For Lashes, Moby).

A multi-genre artist, Chris Carroll's foundation is in hip-hop, and has produced music for hip-hop artists such as Gifted Youngstaz, Ra Scion of Common Market, Entendres, and MADlines, as well as poet/screenwriter Tazbah Rose Chavez.

He is currently finishing up his debut full-length album.
